2011 CECAFA Cup
The 2011 CECAFA Cup was an international football competition consisting of East and Central African national teams. It was the 35th edition of the annual CECAFA Cup. The tournament was hosted by Tanzania for the second consecutive year and seventh time overall. The tournament received Sh823 million (approximately $450,000) sponsorship from Serengeti Breweries Limited which covered the fees of the tournament such as the air tickets of all delegates, accommodations and prize money to name a few. The competition was therefore known as the CECAFA Tusker Challenge Cup 2011. Faty Papy (18 September 1990 – 25 April 2019) was a Burundian professional association football player who last played for Malanti Chiefs in the Premier League of Eswatini. He also played with the Burundi national football team. Career Papy signed on 25 December 2008 for Trabzonspor, coming from AS Inter Star a football club based in Bujumbura. Floribert Tambwe Ndayisaba (born 12 August 1989) is a Burundian footballer, who currently plays for Bidco United. Career Ndayisaba began his career with Chanic FC before signing for Vital'O F.C. in 2005. In the summer of 2008 Ndayisaba signed for FK Baku in Azerbaijan, and was part of the squad that won the 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League, although he didn't make a league appearance for Baku.
