2011 British Formula 3 Season
The 2011 Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series (an international motor racing series), was the 61st British Formula 3 International Series season. The season began on 16 April at Monza in Italy and ended on 9 October at Silverstone after 30 races held at ten meetings. Of those meetings, six were held in the United Kingdom, with overseas rounds at Monza, the Nürburgring in Germany, Paul Ricard in France, and Spa in Belgium. Brazilian driver Felipe Nasr dominated the series, winning seven races and recording 16 top three finishes over the first eight rounds of the series, putting him 123 points ahead of Nasr's Carlin Motorsport teammate, Danish driver Kevin Magnussen, giving him an unassailable lead in the championship with two rounds still in hand. Double R Racing is a motor racing team, which races in Formula Three and other junior levels of formula racing including the MSA Formula Championship for the 2016 season. Harry Tincknell (born 29 October 1991 in Exeter, Devon) is a British professional racing driver currently racing in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for Mazda Team Joest. He won the LMP2 class on his Le Mans 24 Hour race debut in 2014 and again in LMGTE Pro in 2020, the first driver in the race's history to win in both LMP2 and LMGTE Pro. William Buller (born 17 September 1992) is a British racing driver. Career T Cars After successful spells in both karting and mini stocks, Buller made his circuit racing debut in the 2007 T Cars championship; the series designed for aspiring racing drivers between fourteen and seventeen years of age. Jack Harvey (born 15 April 1993) is a British auto racing driver who competes full-time in the NTT IndyCar Series, driving the No. 30 Chevrolet for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, and a former member of McLaren's Young Driver Programme. Career Karting Harvey began his kart racing career at the age of nine. In 2006 he won the MSA Super One British title by a single point, and the Kartmasters British Grand Prix, both in the ICA-J class.
