2011 Atlanta Dream Season
The 2011 WNBA season is the 4th season for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Dream finished the regular season with a 20-14 record, good for third-best in the Eastern Conference (WNBA), Eastern Conference. The Dream then won their second consecutive Eastern Conference (WNBA), Eastern Conference Championship. The Dream made their way to the WNBA Finals before being swept by the 2011 Minnesota Lynx season, Minnesota Lynx. Marynell Meadors
Marynell Meadors (born August 27, 1943) is an American women's basketball coach at the college and professional level. She most recently served as head coach and general manager of the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association and was one of the original eight head coaches when the WNBA started in 1997. Biography Meadors grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and began playing basketball at a young age, shooting at a backboard mounted against a willow tree. According to Meadors, she decided in seventh grade to become a basketball coach. After graduating from Hillsboro High School, she attended Middle Tennessee State University not far from Nashville. She graduated with a B. S. in Physical Education in 1965 and with an M. S. in Physiology of Exercise in 1966. Shalee Lehning
Shalee Lehning (born October 27, 1986) is a former American basketball player who most recently played for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She was Associate Head Coach at the University of Northern Colorado under head coach Kamie Ethridge. Playing career High school Lehning was a four-year letterwinner and starter under coach Barry Lucas at Sublette High School. She ranks as the fourth all-time leading scorer in Kansas Girls Basketball history with 2,510 career points. Additionally, she holds the state all-time career records for rebounds (1,336), assists (804) and steals (543). She holds the school records for career scoring, rebounding, assists and steals. Kelly Miller (born September 6, 1978) is an American former professional basketball player. She is the identical twin sister of fellow basketball player Coco Miller. Early years Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Kelly initially was interested in playing soccer and not basketball at high school, soon she joined her sister Coco.
