The 2011 Alabama State Hornets football team represented Alabama State University as a member of the East Division of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 2011 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Pine Bluff is the eleventh-largest city in the state of Arkansas and the county seat of Jefferson County. Golden Lion Stadium
Simmons Bank Field is a 16,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Built at a cost of $14 million, it opened in 2000 and is home to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions football team. Legion Field is an outdoor stadium in the southeastern United States in Birmingham, Alabama, primarily designed to be used as a venue for American football, but occasionally used for other large outdoor events. The Magic City Classic is an annual American football "classic" that features Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University, the two largest historically black universities in the state. It is played at Legion Field in Birmingham (nicknamed the "Magic City"). Delmar Stadium is a 12,000-seat stadium located at 1900 Mangum Road in Houston, Texas, United States. It is primarily used for American football games of Houston Independent School District schools.
