2010–11 Wyoming Cowboys Basketball Team
The 2010–11 Wyoming Cowboys basketball team represented the University of Wyoming during the 2010–2011 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cowboys was coached by Heath Schroyer, he was fired on February 8, 2011. Fred Langley replaced Heath Schroyer as their interim coach. They played their home games at the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie, Wyoming. The Cowboys are a member of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 10–21, 3–13 in Mountain West play and lost in the first round of the 2011 Mountain West Conference men's basketball tournament to TCU. Heath Schroyer
Heath Martin Schroyer (born March 15, 1972) is an American college basketball coach, currently the athletic director at McNeese State Cowboys and Cowgirls, McNeese State, where he was head coach of the McNeese State Cowboys basketball, men's basketball team from 2018 until 2021. He has had previous head coaching stops at Portland State Vikings, Portland State University (2002–05), Wyoming Cowboys men's basketball, University of Wyoming (2007–11) and UT Martin Skyhawks men's basketball, University of Tennessee-Martin (2014–16). Playing career Schroyer, born in Walkersville, Maryland, played high school basketball under head coach Morgan Wootten at DeMatha Catholic High School. Following high school, he was an All-Conference player at Kings River Community College before playing at Armstrong Atlantic State University, where he graduated in 1995 with a degree in liberal studies.
