2010–11 Wessex Football League
The 2010–11 Wessex Football League was the 25th season of the Wessex Football League. The league champions for the third time in succession were Poole Town, who were promoted to the Southern League after being denied the previous two seasons due to ground grading problems. There was the usual programme of promotion and relegation between the two Wessex League divisions. For sponsorship reasons, the league was known as the Sydenhams Wessex League. League tables Premier Division The Premier Division consisted of 22 clubs, the same as the previous season, after Wimborne Town were promoted to the Southern League, and Cowes Sports were relegated to Division One. Wessex Football League
The Wessex Football League is an English association football league formed in 1986, with its premier division currently at the fifth step of the National League System, or the ninth tier of the overall English football league system. The participating clubs are mainly based in Hampshire and Dorset but the league also encompasses clubs from adjoining counties such as Wiltshire, Berkshire, and the Isle of Wight. In 2004, it absorbed most of the clubs from its feeder league, the Hampshire League, which formed a new Division Two and Division Three. In 2006 the divisions were renamed as the Premier Division and Divisions One and Two. At the end of the 2006–07 season, Division Two was disbanded, and most of the clubs formed a new Hampshire Premier League. Hampshire Premier League
The L4 Teamwear Hampshire Premier League is a football competition based in Hampshire, England. The league was formed in 2007 and currently consists of a 'Senior Division' of 17 teams - including some previous members of the disbanded Division 2 of the Wessex League - and a Division One of 15 teams. Combined Counties Football League
The Combined Counties Football League is a regional men's football league in south-eastern England with members in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Jersey, Kent, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Surrey, and the western half and south-eastern quarter of Greater London, featuring a number of professional clubs. Hayling Island is an island off the south coast of England, in the borough of Havant in the county of Hampshire, east of Portsmouth. History An Iron Age shrine in the north of Hayling Island was later developed into a Roman temple in the 1st century BC and was first recorded in Richard Scott's ''Topographical and Historical Account of Hayling Island'' (1826). Laverstock is a village and civil parish on the north-east and east outskirts of Salisbury in the ceremonial county of Wiltshire, England.
