2010–11 Valencia CF Season
The 2010–11 season was Valencia Club de Fútbol's 93rd in existence and the club's 24th consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. The season was the third season of Unai Emery in front of the team. It was also the first without goalscorer David Villa since 2004–05 who departed to join FC Barcelona in the summer of 2010. Hedwiges Eduard Martinus Maduro (born 13 February 1985) is a Dutch professional Manager (association football), football coach and former Football player, player who is currently without a club after being fired as the head coach of Eredivisie club Almere City FC, Almere City. Marius Stankevičius (born 15 July 1981) is a Lithuanian professional football manager and former player who works as head coach of A Lyga club TransINVEST. A former defender, he was the Lithuanian player of the year in 2008 and 2009. International career Stankevičius has also played as a defender for the Lithuania national team. Ángel Dealbert Ibáñez (born 1 January 1983) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central defender. He spent most of his 17-year senior career at Castellón, representing the club in three levels of Spanish football while playing 220 competitive matches. Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia (; ; born 11 February 1981) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a striker.
