The 2010–11 season was Valencia Club de Fútbol's 93rd in existence and the club's 24th consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. The season was the third season of Unai Emery in front of the team. It was also the first without goalscorer David Villa since 2004–05 who departed to join FC Barcelona in the summer of 2010. Valencia Club de Fútbol (, ca-valencia, València Club de Futbol ), commonly referred to as Valencia CF (or simply Valencia) is a professional football club based in Valencia, Spain, that currently plays in La Liga, the top flight of the Spanish league system. Hedwiges Maduro
Hedwiges Eduard Martinus Maduro (born 13 February 1985) is a Dutch professional football coach and former player who is the assistant coach of Eerste Divisie club Almere City. Mainly a defensive midfielder during his playing career, he could also operate as a central defender, where he started his career at Ajax at the age of 19. He spent several seasons in La Liga, mainly with Valencia where he appeared in 113 competitive games and won the 2008 Spanish Cup. He also competed professionally in Greece and Cyprus. Marius Stankevičius
Marius Stankevičius (born 15 July 1981) is a Lithuanian football manager and former player who works as head coach of the Lithuania U-21. A former defender, he was the Lithuanian player of the year in 2008 and 2009. International career Stankevičius has also played as a defender for the Lithuania national team. In the past, he represented Lithuania at under-21 level. Ángel Dealbert
Ángel Dealbert Ibáñez (born 1 January 1983) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central defender. He spent most of his 17-year senior career at Castellón, representing the club in three levels of Spanish football while playing 220 competitive matches. Aritz Aduriz Zubeldia (; ; born 11 February 1981) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a striker. He spent most of his career with Athletic Bilbao, scoring 172 goals across all competitions for the team over three spells. Joaquín Sánchez Rodríguez (; born 21 July 1981), known simply as Joaquín, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for and captains La Liga club Real Betis as a right winger.
