2010–11 Toto Cup Leumit
The 2010–11 Toto Cup Leumit was the twenty-nine season of the third most important Association football, football tournament in Israel since its introduction and seventh under the current format. It held in two stages. First, sixteen 2010–11 Liga Leumit, Liga Leumit teams were divided into four groups. The winners and runners-up advanced to the Quarterfinals. Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Finals were held as one-legged matches, with the Final played at the Ramat Gan Stadium. The defending champions were Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona F.C., Ironi Kiryat Shmona, making it their second Toto Cup title overall, due to the promotion in the last season the club could not defend their title. Toto Cup
The Israel Toto Cup ( he, גביע הטוטו, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League ( Ligat Ha'Al), and the second division Liga Leumit. From 1999 to 2009, the tournament was also open to clubs from the third division, until the cancellation of Liga Artzit. The Toto Cup is the third most important competition in Israeli football after the Israeli Premier League and the Israeli State Cup. As it isn't highly regarded, Israeli clubs use the games to rotate their squad and give fringe players and youth players a chance. However, the Israeli Sports Betting Council pays 1.25 million NIS to the winner, while the runner-up receives 950,000 NIS. Ramat Gan ( he, רָמַת גַּן or , ) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel, located east of the municipality of Tel Aviv and part of the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. It is home to one of the world's major diamond exchanges, and many high-tech industries. Ramat Gan was established in 1921 as a moshav shitufi, a communal farming settlement. Oren Nisim ( he, אורן ניסים, born 4 November 1976) is a retired Israeli footballer. (in Hebrew) Nissim is mostly known for being a part of Hapoel Haifa when they won their first and only Israeli league championship in 1999.
