2010–11 Sydney FC Season
The 2010–11 season was Sydney FC's sixth consecutive season in the A-League since the competition's inception. The club competed in the 2011 AFC Champions League after finishing premiers and champions in the 2009–10 A-League. Sydney FC
Sydney Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The club was founded in 2004 and entered the A-League as one of the eight original teams for the inaugural 2005–06 season. Hirofumi Moriyasu
is a former Japanese footballer who played as a defender. Career Moriyasu was born in the United States, and first played for Dallas Texans before moving to Japan where he played football for his high school team, as well as college football. He was on the verge of quitting football to search for a more conventional career when he received the opportunity to play in Australia in March 2010. He subsequently signed for New South Wales Premier League club APIA Leichhardt Tigers for the 2010 NSW Premier League season. Ivan Necevski
Ivan Necevski ( mk, Иван Нечевски, ''Ivan Nečevski''), (born 25 February 1980) is an Australian professional goalkeeper who plays for APIA Leichhardt. Club career He has previously played for the Blacktown, Illawarra Lions, Canterbury-Marrickville, Bonnyrigg White Eagles, Sydney United, Rockdale City Suns, and A-League clubs New Zealand Knights and Newcastle Jets. Mark Robert Bridge (born 7 November 1985) is an Australian professional football (soccer) player who plays as a striker for NPL club Mounties Wanderers. Bridge is the Western Sydney Wanderers' first ever goalscorer, earning himself the nickname 'King Bridge' among fans. Juho Mäkelä
Juho Mäkelä (born 23 June 1983) is a Finnish footballer who plays as a striker. He is especially known for his pace. Club career Early career Mäkelä started his career with Tervarit in his home-town, before moving to Veikkausliiga club HJK Helsinki for the 2003 season. Matthew Jurman
Matthew John Jurman ( ; ) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a centre-back and captains A-League club Newcastle Jets. Lefteris "Terry" Antonis ( el, Λευτέρης "Τέρι" Αντώνης; born 26 November 1993) is an Australian association football player who plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers as a midfielder. Terence Martin "Terry" McFlynn (born 27 March 1981) is a retired footballer from Northern Ireland who is most well known for playing for the A-League club Sydney FC. He is currently serving as the W-League and Academy manager for Perth Glory FC. Early life McFlynn grew up in Swatragh, in Northern Ireland to a Catholic family. He played Gaelic Football for the first sixteen years of his life, one of Ireland's traditional sports, before he switched to football on advice from his uncle. Antony Paul Golec (; born 29 May 1990) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Golec is now a real estate agent after his retirement from professional football. Shannon Cole (born 4 August 1984) is a former professional footballer turned coach. Duke Kofi Appiah Danning (born 2 March 1991) is a Ghanaian-born Australian footballer who plays for National Premier Leagues club Belconnen United.
