2010–11 Slovenian PrvaLiga
The 2010–11 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 20th season of top-tier football in Slovenia. The season began in July 2010 and ended on 29 May 2011. Koper were the defending champions, having won their first the previous season. Teams Drava were directly relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season to Slovenian Second League after the last-place finish, having narrowly avoided relegation in the relegation play-offs in the 2007–08 and 2008–09 seasons. Interblock, who placed ninth in 2009–10, entered relegation play-offs and were beaten by Triglav, the runners-up of the 2009–10 Slovenian Second League. Along with Triglav, Primorje were promoted back to top flight as champions of the Slovenian Second League, having been relegated at the end of the 2008–09 season. The Slovenian PrvaLiga ( sl, Prva slovenska nogometna liga, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, is the top level of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football league system. Contested by ten clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Slovenian Second League (2. SNL). Seasons typically run from July to May with each team playing 36 matches. The competition was founded in 1991 after Slovenia became an independent country. From 1920 until the end of the 1990–91 season, the Slovenian Republic League was a lower division within the Yugoslav league system. The league is governed by the Football Association of Slovenia. NK Celje, Celje and NK Maribor, Maribor are the only two founding clubs that have never been relegated from the league since its foundation in 1991. The 2011–12 Slovenian PrvaLiga was the 21st season of the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top-tier football league in Slovenia. The season began on 16 July 2011 and ended on 26 May 2012, with a winter break in effect between 4 December 2011 and 2 March 2012. Maribor were the defending champions, having won their ninth title the previous season. Teams Primorje were directly relegated at the end of the 2010–11 season to the Slovenian Second League after the last-place finish. They were replaced by the 2010–11 Slovenian Second League fourth-placed team, Mura 05, who participated in the competition for the first time in their history. Mura 05 received and accepted an invitation to join the league after Aluminij, Interblock and Dravinja – who finished in the top three places – all declined promotion due to financial reasons. Domžale Sports Park
Domžale Sports Park ( sl, Športni park Domžale) or Domžale Stadium ( sl, Stadion Domžale) is a multi-purpose stadium located in Domžale, Slovenia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Domžale. The stadium, which was built in 1948, currently holds 3,100 spectators. It was renovated and modernized in 1997 and 1999. Work on the new West Stand started in October 2003 and was finished in April 2004. In June 2006, the stadium received floodlights, mounted on four concrete towers and placed at each corner of the stadium. Nogometni klub IB 1975 Ljubljana or simply NK IB 1975 Ljubljana is a Slovenian football club which plays in the city of Ljubljana. They won the Slovenian Cup twice and the Slovenian Supercup once. History The club was founded in 1975 as NK Ježica. In the next two decades they competed mostly in the Ljubljana League, which was the fifth or sixth level of Yugoslav football.
