2010–11 Premier Soccer League
The 2010–11 Premier Soccer League season (known as the ABSA Premiership for sponsorship reasons) was the fifteenth since its establishment. Supersport United were the defending champions, having won their third premier league title the previous season. The campaign began on 27 August 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 15 of which already contested in the 2009–10 Premier Soccer League, 2009–10 season and one of which was promoted from the 2009-10 National First Division, National First Division. Orlando Pirates secured the title with a 2–1 win against Golden Arrows on 21 May 2011. This was their third PSL title. At the bottom, Mpumalanga Black Aces was relegated to the First Division while Vasco da Gama (South Africa), Vasco da Gama contested the relegation playoffs and failed to secure its premier league status. Premier Soccer League

SuperSport United Football Club (often known as SuperSport) is a South African professional football club based in Atteridgeville in Pretoria in the Gauteng province. The team currently plays in the Dstv Premiership. United is known as ''Matsatsantsa a Pitori'' amongst its supporters. They usually play their home games at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville. Bidvest Stadium
Bidvest Stadium, is a multipurpose sports stadium in the Braampark, suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa. The stadium has a dedicated field to host football matches with a capacity of 5,000 seats, and other fields to host other sports disciplines. Gauteng
Gauteng ( ) is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. The name in Sotho-Tswana languages means 'place of gold'. Situated on the Highveld, Gauteng is the smallest province by land area in South Africa. The Moses Mabhida Stadium is a football stadium in Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa, named after Moses Mabhida, a former General Secretary of the South African Communist Party. Durban North is an area to the north of Durban in the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Parow, Cape Town
Parow is a suburb of Cape Town in the Western Cape, South Africa and a Northern Suburb of the City of Cape Town Metropolitan Municipality founded by Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Parow who arrived in the locality in 1865. History During a great storm in Table Bay in 1865, 19 ships were stranded. Amongst the many schooners was the ''Kehrwieder'', the ship of Captain Johann Heinrich Ferdinand Parow. After being stranded, Captain Parow settled down in the Cape of Good Hope and married Johanna Wilhelmina Timmerman, the daughter of the family that helped Captain Parow after being stranded on the Cape coast.
