Gold Coast United FC
Gold Coast United Football Club is an Australian Association football, soccer club based in Gold Coast, Queensland. The earliest incarnation of the club formed in 1966 and its home ground was at Nikiforides Family Park in Broadbeach. The first era of Gold Coast United senior teams competed in the Brisbane leagues until the club disbanded after the 1979 season, allowing Broadbeach United S.C., Broadbeach United Soccer Club to form its first senior team in 1980 at the same grounds. Twenty-eight years later the club was revived and was officially announced as a professional expansion team for the A-League's A-League 2009-10, 2009–2010 season on 28 August 2008. Kim Sung-Kil (; born July 8, 1983) is a footballer who played in South Korea and Australia. Kim previously played for Japanese side Oita Trinita. Daniel Piorkowski (born 12 January 1984) is an Australian footballer. Club career Melbourne Knights His progress as a footballer was delayed by a knee reconstruction, sustained during his playing days with ex NSL club Melbourne Knights FC. Daniel also was a member of the Australian Under 20 Side and missed out on a place in the Under-20 World Cup due to a knee reconstruction. Melbourne Victory After signing for Melbourne Victory, Piorkowski made 11 appearances and was signed to a new two-year deal in April 2006. Piorkowski was an important part of the Victory defence during their premiership winning season in 06/07 along with Adrian Leijer and Rodrigo Vargas. He unfortunately injured his knee during the season and did not feature in the finals series. SK Brann
Sportsklubben Brann (commonly known as Brann, and less often as SK Brann) is a Norwegian professional football club, founded 26 September 1908, from Bergen. Brann had been in the Eliteserien, Norway's Premier Division of Football, since 1987, bar one season spent in the 1. divisjon in 2015, but they were relegated again in 2021. Brisbane Strikers Football Club is an Australian semi-professional football club based in Brisbane, Queensland. Scott Higgins (born 9 June 1976) is an Australian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. His career saw him play in three different continents, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. In the relaunched A-League, he secured a deal with Queensland Roar in 2005, before moving to Europe in June 2006 to join Scottish Premier League club Falkirk. Jason Culina (born 5 August 1980) is a former Australian Association football, soccer player and coach. Club career Culina began his career with Sydney United 58 FC, Sydney United under his father, Branko Culina, before moving to AFC Ajax, Ajax, where he struggled in the reserves. Peter André Perchtold (born 2 September 1984) is a German football coach and former player who played as a midfielder and he is the currently assistant manager Bundesliga club of VfB Stuttgart.
