2010 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy
The 2010 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy was the 18th edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy for women. It was held between 10–18 July 2010 in Nottingham, England. Argentina won the tournament for the fourth time after defeating the Netherlands 4–2 in the final. Nottingham
Nottingham ( , locally ) is a city and unitary authority area in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands, England. It is located north-west of London, south-east of Sheffield and north-east of Birmingham. Maartje Paumen
Maartje Yvonne Helene Paumen (born 19 September 1985) is a former Dutch field hockey player. She is currently assistant coach for Dutch club MOP. She previously played for Dutch clubs Oranje Zwart and HC Den Bosch and Belgian club Royal Antwerp. She also played for the Netherlands national team and she was part of the Dutch squad that became world champions at the 2006 Women's Hockey World Cup in Madrid and the 2014 Women's Hockey World Cup in The Hague. She also won the 2007 Champions Trophy and the 2011 Champions Trophy. With 195 goals in 235 games, she is the all-time top scorer for the Dutch national team. She is also all-time top scorer in the national Dutch hockey league, the Hoofdklasse. Helen Richardson-Walsh, (''née'' Richardson, born 23 September 1981) is an English hockey player who plays as a midfielder. She has been a member of both the England and the Great Britain women's field hockey teams since 1999, and was a member of the Great Britain team that won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Early life Helen Richardson was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire and grew up in West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire with her 3 older brothers. Delfina Merino (born 15 October 1989) is an Argentine field hockey player. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed for the Argentina national field hockey team and the team achieved the silver medal; at the 2020 Summer Olympics, she was part of the team that won the silver medal. Charlotte Harrison (born 31 July 1989) is a New Zealand field hockey player. She has competed for the New Zealand women's national field hockey team (the ''Black Sticks Women''), including for the team at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games, and as a reserve for the team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Ellen Marijn Hoog (, born 26 March 1986) is a former Dutch field hockey player, who is regarded as one of the best Dutch hockey players of her generation. Tina Bachmann (born 1 August 1978 in Mülheim, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a retired German field hockey player. She represented Germany in two editions of the Olympic Games (2004 and 2008), and also often played as a midfielder and an experienced central defender.
