2010 Winnipeg Blue Bombers Season
The 2010 CFL season, 2010 Winnipeg Blue Bombers season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 78th overall. The Blue Bombers finished the year in 4th place in the East Division with a 4–14 record and failed to make the playoffs. The team clinched their third consecutive losing season on October 2, 2010 and were eliminated from post-season contention on Oct 23, 2010 making this the second consecutive season that they have missed the playoffs. After their Week 18 loss against the Edmonton Eskimos, the 2010 Blue Bombers set a CFL record for most losses by four points or less in one season with a remarkable eight such losses. Canadian Football League East Division
The East Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League, its counterpart being the West Division. The Calgary Dinos football team represents the University of Calgary in the sport of Canadian football in U Sports. The program has been in operation since 1964, winning the Vanier Cup national championship five times (1983, 1985, 1988, 1995, 2019), the most out of any of the Canada West teams. Joey Elliott
Joseph Preston Elliott (born August 2, 1986) is a former American football quarterback. He was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2010. He played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, BC Lions and Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League. He played college football at Purdue. He currently runs the Elliot Quarterback Academy, and is currently employed as a member of the Indianapolis Colts scouting staff. Early years Elliott committed to Purdue University on July 2, 2004. Zac Champion (born June 29, 1984) is a former American football quarterback. Champion was released by the BC Lions on May 10, 2010. On June 7, 2010, Champion was signed by the Calgary Stampeders and was competing for third-string quarterback against Daryll Clark. After playing two disappointing pre-season starts, he lost the spot to Clark. One week later, Champion was cut down to the practice roster. 2010 BC Lions Season
The 2010 BC Lions season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 57th overall. The Lions finished the season in third place in the West Division with a second consecutive 8–10 record and qualified for the playoffs by winning their last game of the season. If they had lost, the Edmonton Eskimos would have qualified instead. The team had a dismal start, posting a 1–7 record to start the season, but won seven of their last 10 games to qualify for the playoffs for the 14th consecutive season. The Lions played the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the West Semi-Final, but lost the game in double overtime 41–38. The 2010 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 53rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The Tiger-Cats play their home games at Tim Hortons Field. In 1950, the Tigers merged with cross-town upstart Hamilton Wildcats and adopted the name "Tiger-Cats".
