Swedish Football Division 3
Division 3 is the fifth level in the league system of Swedish football and comprises 144 Swedish football teams. Division 3 had status as the official third level from 1928 to 1986, but was replaced by Division 2 in 1987. It then had status as the official fourth level until 2005, but was replaced once again as Division 1 was recreated in 2006. The competition There are 144 clubs in Division 3, divided in 12 groups of 12 teams each representing a geographical area. During the course of a season (starting in April and ending in October) each club plays the others twice, once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 22 games. The top team in each Division 3 group is promoted to Division 2 and the two lowest placed teams from each Division 2 league are relegated in their place. Infjärdens SK is a Swedish football team from Roknäs in Piteå Municipality, Norrbotten that is currently playing in Division 3 Norra Norrland . Background Infjärdens SK (abbreviated ISK) originates from three clubs: *''Långnäs IF'' (formed 1931) specialising in football, bandy, skiing, athletics and hockey. *''Rokna IF'' (formed 1932) specialising in football, skiing, hockey and table tennis. *''Sjulnäs IF'' (formed 1943) specialising in football. In 1949 Sjulnäs IF merged with Rokna IF to become ''Rokna-Sjulnäs SK'' (RSSK). The main activities of the club were football and hockey. In 1966 RSSK merged with Långnäs IF (LIF) to form ''Rokna-Långnäs SK'' (RLSK). Sävast AIF
Sävast AIF is a Swedish football club located in Sävast which is a neighbourhood of Boden, Norrbotten County. Background Sävast AIF was formed in 1977 with five sections covering Skiing, Tennis, Basketball, Football and Orienteering. In 1996 the separate sports split away from the club, partly because it was difficult to form a main board. Assi IF is a Swedish football team, located in Risögrund, Kalix Municipality, Norrbotten County, currently playing in Division 2 Norrland. Background Assi IF is a club that dates back to 1915.
