The 2010 S-Pulse season was S-Pulse's nineteenth season in existence and their eighteenth season in the J1 League. The club also competed in the Emperor's Cup and the J.League Cup. Kenta Hasegawa
is a former Japanese football player and manager. He is the current head coach J1 League club of Nagoya Grampus. He played for the Japan national team. Club career Hasegawa was educated at and played for Shimizu Higashi High School. He won the national high school championship with his teammates including Katsumi Oenoki and Takumi Horiike. He continued his study and football at University of Tsukuba where he won the Kanto University League title in 1987. After graduating from the university in 1988, he joined Japan Soccer League side Nissan Motors (current Yokohama F. Marinos). He contributed to the club winning the Emperor's Cup twice in 1988 and 1989. When Japan's first-ever professional league J1 League started, Shimizu S-Pulse was founded in his local city. Teruyoshi Ito
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for J3 League club Azul Claro Numazu. He played for the Japan national team. Club career Ito was born in Shizuoka on 31 August 1974. After graduating from high school, he joined J1 League club Shimizu S-Pulse based in his local in 1993. He debuted in June 1994 and played several matches in 1994 season. He became a regular midfielder under manager Masakatsu Miyamoto from 1995 season and played as central player for the club for a long time. In 1996, S-Pulse won the champions in J.League Cup first title in the club history. In 1999, S-Pulse the 2nd place in J1 League and he also was selected Best Eleven award. Yohei Nishibe
is a Japanese football player who plays for Shimizu S-Pulse. Playing career Nishibe was born in Kobe on 1 December 1980. After graduating from high school, he joined J1 League club Urawa Reds in 1999. Reds was relegated to J2 League from 2000. Although he debuted against Kawasaki Frontale in 2000 J.League Cup on April 12, Reds lost 0–3. He debuted in J2 League on October 7 and played all last 7 matches in 2000 season after the debut. Reds also won the 2nd place and was returned to J1 from 2001. In 2001, he battled with Tomoyasu Ando for the position and played many matches. Shun Nagasawa
is a Japanese professional football player currently playing for J1 League team Oita Trinita. After working his way through the S-Pulse youth system, he signed full professional terms in 2007. Frode Johnsen
Frode Johnsen (born 17 March 1974) is a Norwegian former professional footballer who played for Odd and Rosenborg in the Tippeligaen and for Nagoya Grampus and Shimizu S-Pulse in Japan. He played in several positions, but was preferred as a striker or midfielder. Johnsen is 188 cm tall, and was a good header of the ball. In his final season for Odds BK in 2015, Johnsen won the Kniksen's Honour Award for his long career as a footballer. He retired in the age of 41. In 2013, he became the topscorer in Tippeligaen, which also made him the oldest topscorer in a European league ever.
