The 2010 Roewe Shanghai Masters was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 6–12 September 2010 at the Shanghai Grand Stage in Shanghai, China. Ronnie O'Sullivan was the defending champion, but he withdrew due to personal reasons. Ali Carter won in the final 10–7 against Jamie Burnett. Roewe is a vehicle marque created by the Chinese automaker SAIC Motor in 2006, focuses in luxury cars. Joe Delaney, (born 4 August 1972 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish former professional snooker player. Career Born in 1972, Delaney turned professional in 1991. He endured several barren seasons on the tour before losing his place in 1997, but re-qualified during the 1997/1998 season, notably reaching the last 48 stage of the 1998 World Championship. There, he beat seven opponents, including Michael Holt, Munraj Pal, Jamie Burnett and Gary Ponting, before losing 7–10 to Dave Harold. Li Hang (snooker Player)
Li Hang (, born 4 October 1990) is a Chinese professional snooker player. He made his debut on the Main Tour for the 2008–09 season. He reached his first final in a professional event in 2012 at the Asian Players Tour Championship Event 3, where he lost 3–4 to Stuart Bingham. Li is one of eight Chinese players currently suspended from the professional tour amid a match-fixing investigation. Martin Gould
Martin Gould (born 14 September 1981) is an English professional snooker player from Pinner in the London Borough of Harrow. He has appeared in four ranking finals and won one ranking title, the 2016 German Masters. Career Gould began his professional career by playing Challenge Tour in 2000, at the time the second-level professional tour. In 2002, Gould won his first English Amateur Championship, beating Craig Taylor in the final. Gould reached the semi-finals of the 2002 European Championship. Mei Xiwen
Mei Xiwen (;born October 8, 1982) is a Chinese former professional snooker player. Career Mei made his debut on the Main Tour in the 2009/2010 season, as the ACBS Asian nomination, playing his first match at the 2009 Grand Prix. He lost 5–0 to Patrick Wallace, and was defeated in his next two matches, in the UK Championship and the Welsh Open, to Atthasit Mahitthi and Stephen Rowlings respectively. Mei recorded his first win as a professional in the 2010 China Open, where he beat Noppadol Sangnil 5–4, having trailed 4–2, but lost in the next round, 5–1 to Robert Milkins. Mike Dunn (snooker Player)
Mike Dunn (born 20 November 1971) is an English retired professional snooker player who lives in Redcar. Having first turned professional in 1991, Dunn has been ranked within the top 64 players in the world since 2002, reaching his highest ranking, at 32nd, in October 2010. He has enjoyed the best form of his career since 2013, reaching the last 16 stage of three tournaments, and the semi-finals of the 2014 China Open and the 2015 Ruhr Open. Passakorn Suwannawat
Passakorn Suwannawat (born 1 May 1986, Nakhon Pathom, Thailand) is a former Thai professional snooker player. Career Early career Suwannawat first turned professional in the 2006–07 season by winning the 2006 ACBS Asian Under-21 Snooker Championship. He dropped off the main tour after just one season. Suwannawat reached the final of the 2007 IBSF World Snooker Championship, losing to compatriot Atthasit Mahitthi. 2011/2012 He returned to the main tour in the 2011–12 season after winning the 2011 ACBS Asian Snooker Championship. Due to being a new player on the tour and therefore unranked he would need to win four qualifying matches to reach the ranking event main draws. Dave Harold
David Harold (born 9 December 1966) is an English former professional snooker player from Stoke-on-Trent. He was known by the nicknames of "the Hard Man" and "the Stoke Potter" (conflating his home city's pottery industry and his profession of potting snooker balls). He was also the first player on the television circuit to sport a plaster on his chin as a guide for his cue, which is a practice now adopted by Graeme Dott. As an amateur he played as David Harold, but after turning professional in 1991 he was registered as Dave Harold. He won one ranking title, reached two further finals and several semi-finals, and spent four seasons ranked among the top 16. Harold was renowned for both his very strong defensive play and his unusual cue-action, with which he is able to unleash a great deal of power on a shot without using backswing on the cue. Jin Long (; born 23 May 1981) is a Chinese former professional snooker player. He is nicknamed "Golden Dragon", which is a translation of his given name. Career He became professional in 2001 following his strong runs to the finals of the Asian and Chinese Championships. His first Main Tour stints were rather unsuccessful, with the best result a last 48 appearance at the 2004 Grand Prix. Robert Milkins
Robert Milkins (born 6 March 1976) is an English professional snooker player. Considered one of the most naturally talented and quickest players in the game, Milkins has been a mainstay on the tour since regaining his tour card in 1998. Milkins reached a career high rank of 12 in 2014 and has been in and around the worlds top 32 for two decades. After 27 years as a professional, he won his first ranking title at the 2022 Gibraltar Open. Aged 46, he became the oldest first-time winner of a ranking event since Doug Mountjoy at the 1988 UK Championship. Ken Doherty
Ken Doherty (born 17 September 1969) is an Irish professional snooker player, commentator and radio presenter. As an amateur, Doherty won the Irish Amateur Championship twice, the World Under-21 Amateur Championship and the World Amateur Championship. Since turning professional in 1990, Doherty has won six ranking tournaments, including the 1997 World Snooker Championship in which he defeated Stephen Hendry, inflicting Hendry's first loss in a world final. He came very close to breaking the Crucible curse, reaching the 1998 final where he lost out to John Higgins. He reached a third final in 2003, in which he was defeated by Mark Williams.
