2010 Senegalese League Cup
The 2010 Senegalese League Cup (Coupe de la Ligue) was the second ever edition of the League Cup challenge. The format is like a playoff system and features clubs from the country's top two leagues (Ligue 1 and 2). AS Douanes won the first title. Five rounds were featured and 32 clubs competed. Union Culturelle et Sportive des Travailleurs Port Autonome is a Senegalese football club based in Dakar. Their home stadium is Stade Port Autonome. The club is named after the city and country's main shipping port the Autonomous Port of Dakar, it is also the ninth-busiest port in Africa. ASC Linguère is a Senegalese football club based in Saint-Louis. It plays in the second division in Senegalese football. Its home stadium is Stade de Linguère. Linguère is joint eighth in the number of major honours won in Senegal (five) with ASC Port Autonome of Dakar, Casa Sports of Ziguinchor and Djambars FC. History ASC Linguère was founded on 14 September 1969 after the merger of two clubs, Espoir de Saint-Louis and AS Saint-Louisienne.
