Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships
The Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships are the European championships for the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. They were first held in 1978. The European Championships and the European Junior Championships were united in 1993. Prior to 2006, they were called the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships. The competition is organised by the European Union of Gymnastics. Elisa Santoni (born 10 December 1987) is an Italian rhythmic gymnast. Biography One of the veterans of the Italian group, she has competed in 3 Olympic Games, a member of silver medalist group at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the bronze medal winning group at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She also competed in the Italian Group competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing which finishing 4th in the Group All-around. Laura Jung
Laura Jung (born 25 June 1995 in St. Wendel) is a German retired individual rhythmic gymnast. Career Junior Jung started training on federal base in Fellbach with coach Galina Krilenko. She won a bronze medal in the Team event at the 2010 European Junior Championships together with teammate Jana Berezko-Marggrander where she qualified to two event finals finishing 8th in rope and 4th in clubs. Senior In 2011, Jung debuted as a senior, she competed as a senior at the 2011 European Championships in Minsk, Belarus with teammate Jana Berezko-Marggrander and helped Germany finish 11th in the Team event finals. Jana Berezko-Marggrander (russian: Яна Березко-Маргграндер, born 17 October 1995 in Tolyatti, Samara Oblast, Russia) is a German retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2010 Youth Olympic all-around bronze medalist. Career Junior Berezko-Marggrander moved to Germany with her family in 2008 and started training on the federal base in Fellbach with coach Galina Krylenko. She is a member of the club TSV Schmiden. As a junior, she competed at the 2010 Junior International Schmiden where she won silver in all-around behind Russian Daria Svatkovskaya. She won silver in hoop and clubs and bronze in ball final.
