The ''Liguilla'' ( en, Mini League) of the 2010 Primera División de México Apertura was a final knockout tournament involving eight teams of the Primera División de México. The tournament began on November 17, 2010, and concluded on December 5, 2010, with Monterrey beating Santos Laguna 5 – 3 on aggregate over two legs. Teams The 18 teams that participated in the 2010 Apertura were divided into three groups of six teams. The top two in each group qualify automatically. The two best teams in the general table not already qualified, regardless of group, qualify as well. Bracket The eight qualified teams play two games against each other on a home-and-away basis. The winner of each match up is determined by aggregate score. The teams were seeded one to eight in quarterfinals, and will be re-seeded one to four in semifinals, depending on their position in the general table. Marcos Ignacio "Nacho" Ambriz Espinoza (born 7 February 1965) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current manager of Liga MX club Toluca. Playing career Playing for various clubs in Mexico, Ambríz is closely associated with Club Necaxa, a club he had three spells with, and was part of two championship-winning seasons in 1994–95 and 1995–96. Estadio Alfonso Lastras
Estadio Alfonso Lastras is a multi-use unfinished stadium in San Luis Potosí City, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches, and also music concerts. It used to be the home stadium of San Luis F.C. but after it dissolved, Atlético San Luis is the current team that play in Alfonso Lastras. The stadium holds 25,709 people and was built in 2002. It is named after the late Alfonso Lastras Ramírez, who was co-founder of an early football club called Atlético Potosino, Cachorros de San Luis. 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League
The 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League is the 4th edition of the CONCACAF Champions League under its current format, and overall the 47th edition of the premier football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America and the Caribbean. The tournament began on July 26, 2011 and finished with the second leg of the final April 25, 2012. Sergio Arturo Bernal Hernández also known as "El Puma Mayor" (The Eldest Puma) (born 9 February 1970) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Bernal played as a goalkeeper for Club Universidad Nacional, a Mexico City team commonly known as the Pumas. He joined the Pumas in 1988 from the UNAM Fuerzas Basicas. He has been champion with Pumas 4 times, in 1991, and was a major part in getting the golden year back to back "bicampeones" in 2004. He was also the team captain. Guillermo Alejandro Vázquez Herrera (born May 25, 1967, in Mexico City) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Vázquez debuted for Pumas UNAM during the 1984–85 season. Miguel Ángel Calero Rodríguez (14 April 1971 – 4 December 2012) was a Colombian professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper.
