2010 Philippine House Of Representatives Elections In Soccsksargen
Elections were held in Soccsksargen for seats in the House of Representatives of the Philippines on May 10, 2010. The candidate with the most votes won that district's seat for the 15th Congress of the Philippines. Note that in Cotabato City, although a part of this region, the voters elect their representative via Maguindanao's 1st district. Cotabato City is independent from any province and is a part of the Soccsksargen region, but is usually grouped with Maguindanao by the National Statistics Office. Soccsksargen (officially stylized in all caps; ), formerly known as Central Mindanao, is an administrative region of the Philippines, designated as Region XII.
