2010 PBA Fiesta Conference Finals
The 2010 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Fiesta Conference was the best-of-7 basketball championship series of the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference, and the conclusion of the conference's playoffs. The Alaska Aces and the San Miguel Beermen played for the 99th championship contested by the league. The Alaska Aces won their 13th league championship with a 4–2 series victory over the defending Fiesta Conference champions San Miguel Beermen. Alaska Aces (PBA)
The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. The Aces won nine PBA championships in the 1990s, including a rare grand slam (winning three championships in one season) during the 1996 season, joining the Crispa Redmanizers (1976, 1983), San Miguel Beermen (1989), and the San Mig Super Coffee Mixers ( 2013–14) as one of only four franchises to achieve the feat. 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference
The 2010 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Fiesta Conference was the last conference of the 2009-10 PBA season. It started on March 21 and finished on August 18, 2010. The tournament is an Import-laden format, which requires an import or a pure-foreign player for each team and with a height limit of 6-foot-6 (same with the previous Fiesta Conferences except 2008 which had imports of unlimited heights, and of 2007 where the two worst teams in the Philippine Cup had an extra import of 6-foot-1 height limit). Format The following format will be observed for the duration of the conference: * Double-round robin eliminations; 18 games per team; Teams are then seeded by basis on win–loss records. Anthony Jay Washington (born November 10, 1981) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for Yokohama Excellence of the Japanese B.League. College career Born in Zambales, Philippines, Washington played for the Eckerd College Tritons during his college career. Joseph Yeo
Joseph Henry Lim Yeo (born September 7, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Manila Stars of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was drafted third overall by the Coca-Cola Tigers in 2006. Amateur career Yeo took his primary and secondary education at Xavier School and his collegiate education at De La Salle University.
