2010 Korea Open Super Series
The 2010 Korea Open Super Series was a badminton tournament which took place at SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul, South Korea from 12 to 17 January 2010. It had a total purse of US$300,000, as the biggest prize money of Super Series event of the year. The 2010 Korea Open Super Series became the first tournament of the 2010 BWF Super Series, and was the nineteenth edition of the Korea Open tournament, which had been held since 1991. This tournament was organized by Badminton Korea Association and sanctioned by the BWF. SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium
SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium () is an indoor sporting arena located at the Olympic Park in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. The arena was built from September 1984 to April 1986. History It was known as the Olympic Fencing Gymnasium () or Olympic Gymnasium No. 2 prior to 2011. The arena hosted the fencing and fencing part of the modern pentathlon events at the 1988 Summer Olympics. In 2011 it was remodelled for handball games at a cost of , specialized with handball only courts. It was renamed as such to host the SK Handball Korea League. is a Japanese retired badminton player from Tonami Transportation badminton team. He competed at the 2012 London and 2016 Rio Olympics. He also competed in four Asian Games from 2002 to 2014. Hong Ji-hoon (Hangul: 홍지훈), born 27 October 1988) is a South Korean badminton player. Career In 2006, he won a gold medal at the BWF World Junior Championships in the boys' singles event. He defeated Tommy Sugiarto of Indonesia with the score 21–13, 10–21, and 21–16. He became a semi-finalist of the Vietnam Open tournament in the men's doubles event. Hu Yun
Hu Yun (; born 31 August 1981) is a retired badminton player representing Hong Kong since 2006. He competed at the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games, and also 2016 Rio Olympics. Born in Wuhan, Hubei, China, Hu started playing badminton in 1988, and participated in local province badminton teams at an early age. Przemysław Wacha
Przemysław Wacha (; born 31 January 1981) is a Polish badminton player. Career Wacha played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's singles, losing in the first round to Wong Choong Hann of Malaysia. He won the bronze medal at the 2008 European Badminton Championships. Wacha also played badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics in men's singles, losing in the round of 16 to Bao Chunlai of China. Boonsak Ponsana
Boonsak Ponsana ( th, บุญศักดิ์ พลสนะ; ; born 22 February 1982) is a Thai badminton player. His younger sister Salakjit Ponsana is also part of the Thailand badminton team. He got a Bachelor of Laws from Sri Patum. Career Ponsana competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics, but was defeated in the round of 64.
