The 2010 Irish Classic (often known as the 2010 Lucan Racing Irish Classic for sponsorship and promotion purposes) was a professional non- ranking snooker tournament that took place between 24 and 25 July 2010 at the Celbridge Snooker Club in Kildare, Republic of Ireland. Fergal O'Brien won in the final 5–1 against Michael Judge. Celbridge (; ) is a town and townland on the River Liffey in County Kildare, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. It is west of Dublin. David Morris (snooker Player)
David Morris (born 27 November 1988 in Kilkenny) is an Irish snooker player. In the 2015-2016 he was ranked as Ireland's number 3 player, after Fergal O'Brien and Ken Doherty. Career Early career Aged 16, he reached the quarter finals of the U21 World Snooker Championships. He has been Irish champion at every level, winning the overall National championship every year from 2004 to 2006 (becoming the youngest ever winner in 2004). For 2006–07 snooker season, 2006–07 he made his debut on the main tour, reaching the last 64 in two tournaments. His best run in the 2007–2008 season was to the last 48 of the UK Championships, where he lost to Dave Harold (who also defeated him in qualifying for the previous year's Welsh Open). His only opening-round defeat that year was to Supoj Saenla in the World Championship, but despite this setback in the highest ranking-point event of the season he did enough to reach the top 64 of the rankings. Joe Delaney, (born 4 August 1972 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish former professional snooker player. Career Born in 1972, Delaney turned professional in 1991. He endured several barren seasons on the tour before losing his place in 1997, but re-qualified during the 1997/1998 season, notably reaching the last 48 stage of the 1998 World Championship. There, he beat seven opponents, including Michael Holt, Munraj Pal, Jamie Burnett and Gary Ponting, before losing 7–10 to Dave Harold. In his first season back on the tour, Delaney won the majority of his matches, but progressed only to the last 96 at a ranking event – the 1998 Grand Prix, where the declining Steve James beat him 5–2. Rodney Goggins (born 25 March 1978) is an Irish former professional snooker player from County Wexford. He competed on the main tour between 2004 and 2009. Career At the age of 21, Goggins won the International Billiards and Snooker Federation World Under-21 Championship in 1999, when he beat Rolf de Jong of the Netherlands 11–4 in the final in Egypt. Two last-32 finishes in qualifying events during the 2003–2004 season earned Goggins a place on the professional main tour for 2004–2005.
