Vasco De Almeida E Costa
Vasco Fernando Leote de Almeida e Costa, GCIH, GCL (25 July 1932 – 26 July 2010) was a Portuguese naval officer and politician. Biography He served as Minister of Internal Administration during José Pinheiro de Azevedo's government, between 19 September 1975 and 23 July 1976. He also had an important role during the Portuguese decolonization period. From 23 June 1976 he became interim Prime Minister after Pinheiro de Azevedo suffered a heart attack during his presidential campaign. He remained the 106th Prime Minister of Portugal as an interim official for the rest of Pinheiro de Azevedo's mandate, when he was substituted by the democratically elected Mário Soares. He was also the 134th Governor of Macau from 16 June 1981 to 15 May 1986. His reign in the colony was marked by considerable infrastructure development. José de Sousa Saramago, GColSE ComSE GColCa (; 16 November 1922 – 18 June 2010), was a Portuguese writer and recipient of the 1998 Nobel Prize in Literature for his "parables sustained by imagination, compassion and irony ith which hecontinually enables us once again to apprehend an elusory reality." Acúrsio Freire Alves Carrelo (16 March 1931, in Maputo, Lourenço Marques – 9 January 2010), better known as Acúrsio, was a Portugal, Portuguese Association football, footballer. He played as a goalkeeper. He also had a rink hockey player career as a goalkeeper. He played for FC Porto. Football career Acúrsio gained 8 Cap (sport), caps for Portugal national football team, Portugal and made his debut 20 May 1959 in Gothenburg against Sweden men's national football team, Sweden, in a 0-2 defeat.
