2010 Formula 3 Brazil Open
The 2010 Formula 3 Brazil Open was the inaugural Formula 3 Brazil Open race held at Autódromo José Carlos Pace from January 21–24, 2010. There were private pre-event test sessions at Autódromo Internacional Nelson Piquet and Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna. After a weekend of competition, British driver William Buller of the Hitech Racing Brazil outfit was crowned as the race champion, beating a host of Formula Three Sudamericana drivers, as well as André Negrão competing for the Cesario Fórmula team, who would drive in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 championship later in the 2010 season. After Buller qualified on pole position for the first race, he and Negrão took a victory apiece with Yann Cunha finishing third in both races. Formula 3 Brazil Open
The Formula 3 Brazil Open, also known as the F3 Brazil Open, was an annual open wheel racing event at the grand prix circuit of Autódromo José Carlos Pace (Interlagos) in São Paulo, Brazil. The inaugural meeting took place in January 2010. In 2015, the cancellation was announced due to the renovation of Interlagos, but has not been done after that. The rules and regulations are the same as used in the long-running Formula Three Sudamericana series, using Dallara chassis fitted with 260 bhp Berta engines and Pirelli tyres. The event is open to drivers of any nationality who are of Formula Three standard. There are four races during the weekend but from the final one only will the winner be crowned: the first three act as qualifying races to decide the grid for the final race. Yann Cunha
Yann Cunha (born 22 January 1991) is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Karting Yann Cunha began his career kart racing. In November 2010 Yann, teamed up with pilots Luiz Cordeiro and Lu Boesel, won the famous 500 miles kart race in Granja Viana, São Paulo, where celebrities such as Nelson Piquet Jr. and Rubens Barrichello participated as well. Formula Three Sudamericana In 2008 he began competing in the fastest category of the continent, the South American Formula 3. Formula Three, also called Formula 3, abbreviated as F3, is a third-tier class of open-wheel formula racing. Formula 3 Sudamericana was a South American Formula Three championship. It was inaugurated in 1987 and primarily held races in Brazil and Argentina, with a small number of events held in other countries across the continent. Its most notable graduates include former Formula One drivers Nelson Piquet Jr., Ricardo Zonta and Christian Fittipaldi, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Hélio Castroneves, and Champ Car champion and former F1 driver Cristiano da Matta. Dallara is an Italian race car manufacturer, founded by its current President, Gian Paolo Dallara. Vittorio Ghirelli (born 9 May 1994 in Fasano) is an Italian racing driver that currently competes in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series for PK Carsport in the Elite 2 division and the smart EQ fortwo e-cup, where he is currently the series' defending champion. Bruno Andrade (born February 6, 1991 in São Paulo is a Brazilian racing driver. Career Karting Andrade began his racing career in karting in 2004. He continued karting in junior categories in 2005 and 2006 In 2007 Andrade became champion São Paulo kart, Graduates in category B. In 2008, he was runner-up Grand Prix RBC, Graduate category A. Autódromo José Carlos Pace (AKA Interlagos) Track Map
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, better known as Interlagos, is a motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, in the neighborhood of Interlagos. It was inaugurated on 12 May 1940, by the federal intervener Adhemar de Barros. The traditional name of the circuit and of the neighborhood itself comes from the fact that it is located in a region between two large artificial lakes, Guarapiranga and Billings, which were built in the beginning of the 20th century to supply the city with water and electricity. In 1985 the circuit was renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver José Carlos Pace, who died in a plane crash in 1977. Attached to its facilities there is a Kart circuit named after Ayrton Senna. André Negrão (born 17 June 1992, Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian driver in the World Endurance Championship (WEC), world champion in the WEC's superseason 2018/2019 and twice winner in the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2018 and 2019) in the LMP2 class.
