2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship Qualification (NORCECA)
The NORCECA qualification for the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship saw member nations compete for five places at the finals in Italy. Draw 33 of the 35 NORCECA national teams entered qualification. The teams were distributed according to their position in the FIVB Senior Men's Rankings as of 5 January 2008 using the serpentine system for their distribution. NORCECA
The North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) is the international governing body for the sports of volleyball in Northern America, Central America, and the Caribbean. NORCECA is the continental confederation that represents its 35 member associations at the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) level. It also has six associate members: Bonaire, Saba, Saint Martin, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. The confederation is responsible for, among other things, the staging of Olympic and World Championship zone qualification tournaments, as well as continental championships for both men and women in indoor volleyball and beach volleyball. Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva is an indoor sporting arena located in Havana, Cuba. Built in 1957, the Coliseum is one of the most important works of Cuban Civil Engineering. It is located at the intersection of Boyeros and Vía Blanca avenues in the Cerro Municipality. The capacity of the arena is for 15,000 spectators. Coliseo Héctor Solá Besares (English: ''Hector Sola Bezares Coliseum'') is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Caguas, Puerto Rico. It is used mostly for basketball and was the home arena of Caguas Creoles (basketball), Caguas Creoles of the National Superior Basketball league. The capacity of the arena is 10,000 spectators.
