2010 FC Lokomotiv Moscow Season
The 2010 Lokomotiv season was the 18th successive season that Lokomotiv played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. They finished the season in 5th place, qualifying for the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League, were knocked out of the Russian Cup by Gornyak Uchaly at the Round of 32 stage, and knocked out of the 2010–11 UEFA Europa League by Lausanne-Sport on penalties at the playoff stage. FC Lokomotiv Moscow (''FC Lokomotiv Moskva'', russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Локомотив" Москва, ) is a Russian professional football club based in Moscow. Lokomotiv have won the Russian Premier League on three occasions; the Soviet Cup twice; and the Russian Cup a record nine times. After the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the European Club Association suspended the team. History Early years Lokomotiv was founded as Kazanka (Moskovsko-Kazanskaya Zh.D) in 1922. In 1924, the club brought together the strongest football players of several lines of the Moscow railway system as KOR ("Club of the October Revolution"). 2011–12 UEFA Europa League
The 2011–12 UEFA Europa League was the third season of the UEFA Europa League, Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 41st edition overall including its predecessor, the UEFA Cup. It began on 30 June 2011 with the first legs of the first qualifying round, and ended on 9 May 2012 with the final held at Arena Națională in Bucharest, Romania. Dramane Traoré (born 17 June 1982) is a Malian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He made 30 appearances scoring 7 goals for the Mali national team. Dmitri Aleksandrovich Sennikov (russian: Дмитрий Александрович Сенников; born 24 June 1976) is a former Russian international association football defender best known for his performances for Lokomotiv Moscow, where he spent a total of 11 seasons. Club career Dmitri Sennikov was born in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) and graduated from Zenit football school. He was not signed by any professional club and continued playing football as a hobby. In 1996, he was invited to Lokomotiv Saint Petersburg, a First Division team. After two years at the club, he accepted the offer of CSKA Moscow. However, Sennikov failed to become a first-team regular and was loaned to Shinnik Yaroslavl after half a season. Charles Fernando Basílio da Silva or simply Charles (born February 14, 1985 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian defensive midfielder who most recently played for Turkish club Antalyaspor. Career Da Silva arrived at Cruzeiro in October 2003, at age 18, as a defender in the junior team. He was loaned to Ipatinga in 2005, when he won the State Championship. Haminu Draman (born 1 April 1986) is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Having started his career in Ghana with Heart of Lions, Draman joined Serbian club Red Star Belgrade for the 2005–06.
