2010 F2000 Championship Series
The 2010 F2000 Championship Series season marked the fifth season of competition in the series. It comprised 14 rounds (seven double-race weekends), beginning April 10 at Virginia International Raceway and concluding September 5 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. With six victories during the season, Victor Carbone finished it as the champion, 74 points clear of closest rival Cole Morgan, who took two wins. Daniel Erickson finished the season in third place, despite missing two early-season rounds at Road Atlanta and Mosport, taking a double win at Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio. Jonathan Scarallo, Chris Livengood and Remy Audette took the other race wins as they all finished inside the top ten in the championship standings. F2000 Championship Series
The F2000 Championship Series is a North American–based open wheel road racing series based on Formula Continental, a wings and slicks series that is designed to be the second step after Formula F 1600. The series utilizes the 2.0L powerplant of the new Mazda MZR engine or an older Zetec or Pinto engine coupled with chassis from companies such as Van Diemen, Citation, Mygale, RFR, Radon and Piper. Unlike other developmental series, there are no spec cars in F2000. The series has existed in one form or another since the 1970s and the current championship has been in place since 2006 and was founded by a group of Sports Car Club of America racers as a pro series for SCCA Formula Continental club racers looking for more competition, and a proving ground for aspiring open wheel racers. 2008 champion Anders Krohn has gone on to Star Mazda as has 2009 champion Chris Miller. Mygale Racing Car Constructor (Mygale SARL) is a French racing car manufacturer that specialises in the production of single seater chassis for use in formula racing. It is most notable for its Formula Ford chassis. Mygale also produces the chassis used by in Formula Renault, Formula BMW, Formula Three and Formula Four. The company was established in 1989 by Bertrand Decoster and its factory is based in the Technopole of Magny-Cours, France. Paul Edward Farmer (October 26, 1959 – February 21, 2022) was an American medical anthropologist and physician. Farmer held an MD and PhD from Harvard University, where he was a University Professor and the chair of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He was the co-founder and chief strategist of Partners In Health (PIH), an international non-profit organization that since 1987 has provided direct health care services and undertaken research and advocacy activities on behalf of those who are sick and living in poverty. Félix Juan Serrallés IV (born June 24, 1992) is a Puerto Rican racing driver. After gathering two second-place finishes in the Caribbean Karting Championship, Serrallés joined the Skip Barber National Championship and finished third. Afterwards, he was recruited by Fortec Motorsport and moved to Europe, where he debuted in the Formula Renault. Peter González Telmo, OP (1190 – 15 April 1246), also known as Saint Elmo, was a Castilian Dominican friar and priest, born in 1190 in Frómista, Palencia, Kingdom of Castile and Leon. Life González was educated by his uncle, the Bishop of Astorga, who gave him a canonry when he was very young. On one occasion, he was riding triumphantly into the city, his horse stumbled, dumping him into the mud to the amusement of onlookers. Humbled, the canon reevaluated his vocation and later resigned his position to enter the Dominican Order.
