2010 DFL-Supercup
The 2010 DFL-Supercup marked the return of the DFL-Supercup, German Supercup, an annual association football, football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal competitions. The competition had not been played in an official capacity since 1996, and was replaced by the DFB Liga-Pokal from 1997 to 2007. For the previous two years, an unofficial super cup had been contested. The match was played at the Augsburg Arena, Impuls Arena in Augsburg on 7 August 2010, and was contested by 2009–10 Bundesliga and 2009–10 DFB-Pokal Double (association football), double winners FC Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich, and league runners-up FC Schalke 04, Schalke 04. Holger Felix Badstuber (born 13 March 1989) is a German former professional footballer who played as a centre-back or left-back. Badstuber made his debut in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich in the 2009–10 season, at the age of 19.
