The 2010 Croatian Cup final was a two-legged affair played between Hajduk Split and Šibenik. The first leg was played in Split on 21 April 2010, with the second leg on 5 May 2010 in Šibenik. 2009–10 Croatian Football Cup
The 2009–10 Croatian Football Cup was the nineteenth season of Croatia's football knockout competition. The defending champions were Dinamo Zagreb since they won the previous year's cup by defeating Hajduk Split on penalties after the result was tied 3–3 on aggregate. The cup kicked off with the single-legged preliminary round which was played on 25 and 26 August 2009. Top flight clubs entered the competition in the following round, played on 22 and 23 September 2009. The two-legged final was played on 21 April and 5 May 2010, and was contested by Šibenik and Hajduk Split. This was the first cup final for Šibenik, and a first time that they had passed through beyond the second round in the Croatian Cup. Hajduk Split won their fifth cup in nine finals. Marin Ljubičić (born 15 June 1988) is a Croatian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for NK Dugopolje. Club career Ljubičić started playing football at his local club ONK Metković, shortly moving on to NK Neretva, before joining the HNK Hajduk Split academy. Becoming professional for the club, he played in top-tier 31 match before moving on to NK Zadar in the summer of 2008. Josip Skoko
Josip Skoko (born 10 December 1975) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder for North Geelong Warriors, Hajduk Split, Genk, Gençlerbirliği, Wigan Athletic, Stoke City and Melbourne Heart. Mario Maloča (born 4 May 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Lechia Gdańsk. Club career Maloča spent most of his youth career at Dinamo Zagreb and had spells with youth teams at NK Zagreb, Inter Zaprešić and Kamen Ingrad. In 2007, Maloča signed for Hajduk Split. Mirko Oremuš (born 6 September 1988) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays for Bosnian Premier League club Igman Konjic. Club career Oremuš joined the Hajduk Split academy in 2003, joining from Val Kaštel Stari. A youth national team player, he debuted in the Hajduk first team by scoring against Slaven Belupo, coming in from the bench for the last 14 minutes of the game. Jurica Buljat (born 19 September 1986) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defender for HNK Zadar. Club career On 20 June 2011, Buljat signed a three-year contract with Israeli defending champion Maccabi Haifa. Buljat made his debut on 2011–12 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, 13 July 2011, against Borac Banja Luka. He was released from the Israeli club after one year. Danijel Subašić (born 27 October 1984) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Hajduk Split. Subašić began his career in Croatia with Zadar and Hajduk. In January 2012, he joined Monaco, and went on to make 292 competitive appearances for them over eight-and-a-half years. Ermin Zec (born 18 February 1988) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a forward or as a winger. Mario Tičinović
Mario Tičinović (born 20 August 1991) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Bosnian Premier League club Zrinjski Mostar. He has amassed a total 44 youth caps for Croatia under six different age groups.
