2010 Centrobasket
The 2010 Men's Central American and Caribbean Basketball Championship, also known as 2010 Centrobasket, was hosted in the Dominican Republic. This edition was the first time that the Centrobasket featured ten teams in the finals; previously, eight teams had qualified. Puerto Rico won the title with an 89-80 victory over Dominican Republic. Panama captured the bronze medal with a 75-74 victory over Cuba. Carlos Arroyo
Carlos Alberto Arroyo Bermúdez (born July 30, 1979) is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player, and reggaeton singer. Arroyo had previously played in the National Basketball Association with the Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Miami Heat, and Boston Celtics. Gyno Pomare
Leonardo "Gyno" Pomare (born April 5, 1986) is an American-Panamanian professional basketball player. He is last played professionally with the Yamagata Wyverns of the B.League College career Pomare was a four-year player with the University of San Diego. He originally committed to the Toreros out of El Camino High School for the 2004 season, but sat out the 2004-05 season as a redshirt. Filiberto Rivera (born September 28, 1982), also known as "Fili", is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player who plays for Cangrejeros de Santurce of the BSN in Puerto Rico. José Juan Barea Mora (born June 26, 1984) is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player and coach.
