2010 CAF Champions League Group Stage
The 2010 CAF Champions League group stage matches took place between 16 July and 19 September 2010. The draw for the two groups took place on 13 May 2010, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo. The group stage featured 8 qualifiers from the 2010 CAF Champions League qualification#Second round, second round of qualifying. At the completion of the group stage, the top two teams in each group advanced to the 2010 CAF Champions League knock-out stage#Semifinals, semifinals. Seeding The seeding for the group stage was announced on 12 May. Each group consists of a team from each of the 4 pots. 2009 CAF Champions League Group Stage
The group stage of the 2009 CAF Champions League was played from 18 July to 20 September 2009. A total of eight teams competed in the group stage, the group winners and runners-up advance to the Knockout stage playing semifinal rounds before the final. Format In the group stage, each group was played on a home-and-away round-robin tournament, round-robin basis. The winners and the runners-up of each group advanced to the Knockout stage. Sétif ( ar, سطيف, ber, Sṭif) is the capital of the Sétif Province in Algeria. It is one of the most important cities of eastern Algeria and the country as a whole, since it is considered the trade capital of the country. Wajdi Bouazzi
Wajdi Bouazzi (born 16 August 1985) is a Tunisian international footballer. Club career Bouazzi first began his footballing career with hometown club AS Kasserine. After spending two years with Kasserine, he made his big move to Tunis-based club Espérance in July 2006. It was here that the winger became regular for the team, helping the club to a runners-up position at the 2010 and 2012 editions of the CAF Champions League and actually winning the competition in 2011. Following this triumph, Bouazzi would also go on to feature at the 2011 FIFA Club World Cup as his team was only able to manage a sixth place finish.
