2010 Bonnaroo Music Festival
The 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival was held on June 10–13, 2010. The line-up was announced Tuesday, February 9, although the original line-up release date was scheduled for February 2. It was broadcast live on YouTube. Pre-sale tickets went on sale November 27, 2009. Line-up The majority of artists were announced on Bonnaroo's official '' MySpace'' and ''Twitter'' pages over a span of nine hours. On March 4, Ween, John Butler Trio, Umphrey's McGee, Galactic, The Gossip, and Circa Survive were added to the line-up. On March 11, it was announced that Conan O'Brien would stop at the festival during The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour. Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival
The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an American annual four-day music festival developed and founded by Superfly Presents and AC Entertainment. Since its first year in 2002, it has been held at what is now Great Stage Park on a farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival typically starts on the second Thursday in June and lasts four days. It has been held every year except 2020 when it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and 2021 when it was canceled due to excessive rain from Hurricane Ida flooding the campground. Main attractions of this festival are the multiple stages featuring live music with a diverse array of musical styles including indie rock, classic rock, world music, hip hop, jazz, Americana, bluegrass, country music, folk, gospel, reggae, pop, electronic, and other alternative music. The Live Music Archive (LMA), part of the Internet Archive, is an ad-free collection of over 170,000 concert recordings in Lossless data compression, lossless audio formats. The songs are also downloadable or playable in lossy formats such as Vorbis, Ogg Vorbis or MP3. Fanfarlo
Fanfarlo are a London-based indie/alternative band formed in 2006 by Swedish musician Simon Balthazar. They fuse elements of folk, indie rock and post-punk using eclectic instrumentation including trumpet, violin, mandolin, musical saw, clarinet and saxophone. Since their formation they have released three studio albums and one EP. Background The band, whose name comes from the Charles Baudelaire novella ''La Fanfarlo'', started performing live in small London indie clubs in 2006, and released four limited edition 7" singles on London-based indie labels (one of which is a split single with Sleeping States) throughout 2006–2008. The Xx
The xx are an English indie rock band from Wandsworth, London, formed in 2005. The band consists of Romy Madley Croft (guitar, vocals), Oliver Sim (bass guitar, vocals), Jamie Smith, also known as Jamie xx (beats, MPC, record production), and formerly Baria Qureshi (keyboard, guitar). They are known for their distinct and minimalist sound that blends indie rock, indie electronic, indie pop, dream pop and electro-rock and the dual vocalist setup of both Croft and Sim. The Temper Trap are an Australian indie rock band formed in 2005 by Dougy Mandagi, Jonathon Aherne, and Toby Dundas. In 2008, the group relocated from Melbourne to London. The band released their debut album '' Conditions'' in June 2009 to favourable reviews and commercial success; it peaked at No. 9 on the ARIA Albums Chart and into the top 30 on the UK Albums Chart. Diane Birch (born January 24, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter. Early life Birch was born in Michigan. At the age of seven she began studying piano using the Suzuki method. While growing up she listened to opera, classical and church music. Birch's father was a Seventh-day Adventist missionary in Zimbabwe, South Africa and Sydney, Australia, and as a result Birch spent her early years abroad. The Postelles are four-piece rock band hailing from New York City. They formed at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The band released their debut album, ''The Postelles'', on June 7, 2011. It was produced by Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes. Olubowale Victor Akintimehin (born September 21, 1984), better known by his stage name Wale ( ), is an American rapper.
