Stade Pierre De Coubertin (Paris)
The Stade Pierre de Coubertin (French for Pierre de Coubertin Stadium) is an indoor arena that is located in Paris, France. It is the home venue of the Paris Saint-Germain Handball team. Currently, the arena has a seating capacity of 4,200 people for basketball games. History Stade Pierre de Coubertin was opened in 1937, for the Universal Exposition, and it was rebuilt after bombing that occurred during the Second World War. The stadium was used as a detention centre during the Paris massacre of 1961. In 1990, the arena underwent a renovation, which included a new façade, expansion of its seating capacity, and the addition of various service areas. Yao Jie
Yao Jie (; born 10 April 1977) is a Chinese-born badminton player who now resides in the Netherlands. Yao is one of a number of badminton players who have emigrated from China, in part, because the depth of badminton talent in that country has made it difficult for them to be selected for major international competitions. Prior to her move to the Netherlands, she won the BWF World Junior Championships in girls' doubles with Liu Lu in 1994 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and helps the Chinese national women's team clinched a gold medal at the 1997 East Asian Games. But her passion was for the ladies singles event. Maja Tvrdy (born 20 November 1983) is a Slovenian badminton player. She competed for Slovenia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Maja Tvrdy is the most successful badminton player of Slovenia, who participated and represented Slovenia at two Olympic Games: in Beijing, where she achieved 17th place in the individual event and the Summer Olympic Games 2012 in London, where she lost in the qualifying round. Porntip Buranaprasertsuk ( th, พรทิพย์ บูรณะประเสริฐสุข; born 24 October 1991) is a Thai badminton player. Buranaprasertsuk won her first Superseries title in 2011 India Open on 1 May 2011, becoming the first Thai to win a women's singles title in the Superseries tournament. Anna Rice
Anna Kathleen Rice (born 19 August 1980) is a Canadian badminton player. She attended Handsworth Secondary School, and completed a B.A. from the University of British Columbia. Career In 1999, Rice represented British Columbia competed at the Canada Winter Games in Corner Brook, clinched the women's singles title and runner-up in the women's doubles. In 2000, Rice moved to Denmark to play in the Danish Club League and to train at the International Badminton Academy under coach Michael Kjeldsen. Chloe Magee
Chloe Noelle Magee (born 29 November 1988) is an Irish professional badminton player. She represented her country at the Olympic Games for three consecutive times in 2008 Beijing, 2012 London, and 2016 Rio de Janeiro. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she became the first Irish woman to win a badminton match at the Olympics. She has been described as "the poster girl for Irish badminton". Maria Febe Kusumastuti (born 30 September 1989) is an Indonesian badminton player from Boyolali, Central Java. Career In 2008, she won women's singles at the Bitburger Open. The next year, she won women's singles at the Australia Open after beating the 1st seeded Yip Pui Yin with a straight set, 21–18, 21–19. Febe played on the 2010 Uber Cup teams for Indonesia which finished at the semifinals after being defeated by China 0–3. She lost to Wang Yihan at the first match. Aditi Mutatkar (born 6 October 1987) is an Indian badminton player from Pune, Maharashtra. She won the Silver Medal in Mixed team event in 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi, 2010. She reached her highest rank of 27th in the world when she registered her career-best performance of reaching the finals of the Bitburger Open. In the domestic circuit, she has won the Badminton Nationals in all age categories, only the third woman in this country to do so. Aditi's career has been riddled with injuries. Kim Moon-hi
Kim Moon-hi (; born 28 June 1988) is a South Korean badminton player. Kim who educated at the SacredHeart Girl's High School in Jeonju was part of the Korean junior team that won the bronze medal at the 2005 Asian Junior Championships and made it to the gold medal in 2006. She also won the girls' singles bronze medal at the 2006 World Junior Championships, and helped the team clinch the gold medal. For her achievements in the junior tournaments, she received the Korea Sports Council's Scholarship. Kim later educated at the Korea National Sport University. Played for the Daekyo Noonnoppi team, Kim was awarded as Most Valuable Players at the Korean Spring League tournament. Petya Nedelcheva ( bg, Петя Неделчева; born 30 July 1983) is a Bulgarian badminton player. She was born in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. At the Bulgarian National Badminton Championships she won more than 20 titles. Career A right-handed Nedelcheva became a professional badminton player since 1999, when she competed at the Balkan Games Championships. In 2001, she won bronze medals at the European Junior Badminton Championships in the girls' singles and doubles event. She also won the silver medal at the 2010 European Badminton Championships in the women's doubles event partnered with Anastasia Russkikh of Russia.
