Asian Development Tour
The Asian Development Tour, founded in 2010, is a professional golf tour. It is the development tour for the Asian Tour, with a relationship analogous to the Web.com Tour to the PGA Tour and the Challenge Tour to the European Tour. Players who fail to earn Asian Tour cards through qualifying school may play on the tour. The top five players on the Order of Merit (money list) at the end of the year will earn an Asian Tour card for the following season. Beginning in 2013, tournaments carry Official World Golf Ranking points, with a minimum of six points to the winner and points to the top six plus ties. Most of the tournaments are in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Several of the tournaments are co-sanctioned with the Professional Golf of Malaysia Tour and the All Thailand Golf Tour. The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Official money events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points. The Asian Tour is administered from Singapore. It is controlled by a board with a majority of professional golfers, and a Tournament Players Committee of its player members, supported by an executive team. Lin Wen-tang (, born 28 June 1974) is a Taiwanese professional golfer. He comes from a golfing family, with his father and uncle both being professionals and two brothers who played with him on the Asian Tour. Lin turned professional in 1996, and won for the first time as at the 1998 Hsin Fong Open, a non-tour event in his home country. He has played on the Asian Tour since 1998 and has won four titles, his first coming in 2006 at the Taiwan Open. Thanyakon Khrongpha (Some sources Thanyakorn)(; born 3 June 1990) is a Thai professional golfer. Khrongpha was a successful amateur, winning gold at the Southeast Asian Games, before turning professional in 2010. He promptly won his first professional tournament on the Asian Development Tour at the Kariza Classic in Indonesia. At the end of the year Khrongpha came through the qualifying school to earn a card for the full Asian Tour. Juvic Pagunsan (born 11 May 1978) is a professional golfer from the Philippines who plays on the Japan Golf Tour and the Asian Tour. He won the 2007 Pertamina Indonesia President Invitational on the Asian Tour and the 2021 Gateway to The Open Mizuno Open on the Japan Golf Tour. Amateur career Pagunsan had an illustrious amateur career with numerous victories that included the 2005 Philippine, Thailand and Malaysian Amateurs. Pagunsan nearly won the 2004 Philippine Open as an amateur. He was a co-leader going into the final round, but settled for second place, three strokes behind the winner.
