FC Kuban Krasnodar
FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its Kuban, location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans. Other nicknames associated with the club colours were "The Canaries" (analogous to the similar colours of the French FC Nantes, the English Norwich City F.C.) and "The Toads" (primarily by opponents and the Kuban Ultras). Paulo Baptista Nsimba (born 12 October 1983), nicknamed Zé Kalanga, is an Angolan former footballer who played as a winger. Career Also known as Ricardo Eloy he began his career at Angolan club Petro Atletico in his hometown of Luanda. He made his debut for the Angola national team in 2003 against Gabon. His bright and promising performances for Angola on the right wing at the 2006 World Cup earned him a move to Romanian club Dinamo București where in his first season he was part of the Liga I Championship winning squad. At the World Cup Zé Kalanga was voted Man of the Match in Angola's group game against Iran on 21 June, in a game where he set up teammate Flávio's opening goal in a 1–1 draw. Al-Shabab Football Club ( ar, نادي الشباب), or The Youth Football Club, in English, is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Riyadh. Flávio da Silva Amado (born 30 December 1979), better known as Flávio, is an Angolan former professional footballer striker. He is the assistant of Angolan side Petro Atlético. Club career Flávio helped his team Al Ahly to participate in the FIFA Club World Championship two successive times in 2005 and 2006. Rui Manuel Marques (born 3 September 1977) is an Angolan former football defender who was a first choice centre-back for the Angola national team. Born in Angola, Marques moved to Portugal as a child. Club career Early career After coming through the youth ranks at Portuguese club Benfica, Marques left to join Swiss side FC Baden. Following his spell at Baden, he began his professional career at Germany's SSV Ulm 1846 in the 1999–2000 season. Djalma Braume Manuel Abel Campos (born 30 May 1987), known simply as Djalma, is an Angolan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Portuguese club C.D. Trofense. Carlos Alberto Fernandes (born 8 December 1979), known simply as Carlos, is an Angolan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Kinshasa, Zaire, Carlos started his career as a striker, subsequently moving into goalkeeper upon replacing an injured teammate. He started playing professionally with lowly U.D.
