FC Kuban (russian: link=no, Футбольный клуб "Кубань" Краснодар) was a Russian football club based in Krasnodar. The team began playing in the Russian Premier League in 2011, after it was promoted for winning the Russian First Division. FC Kuban was one of the oldest football clubs in Russia. Founded as Dynamo of the Krasnodar NKVD, FC Kuban changed its affiliations because of changing politics in the USSR. Club members and fans were called "Kubantsy" () (because of its Kuban, location) or "yellow-greens" (the club colours). The team was also known as the "Cossacks" by fans. Paulo Baptista Nsimba (born 12 October 1983), nicknamed Zé Kalanga, is an Angolan former footballer who played as a winger. Career Also known as Ricardo Eloy he began his career at Angolan club Petro Atletico in his hometown of Luanda. He made his debut for the Angola national team in 2003 against Gabon. Flávio da Silva Amado (born 30 December 1979), better known as Flávio, is an Angolan former professional footballer striker. He is the assistant of Angolan side Petro Atlético. Carlos Alberto Fernandes (born 8 December 1979), known simply as Carlos, is an Angolan professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper.
