The 2009–10 season of the Slovak First League (also known as ''1. liga'') is the seventeenth season of the league since its establishment. It began in late July 2009 and ended in May 2010. Slovak Second League
The 2. Liga is the second-level football league in Slovakia. Currently, there are sixteen teams in one group of the competition. For two seasons, it was also known as DOXXbet liga for sponsorship reasons. History The league was formed as a second-tier league in Czechoslovakia. Before the dissolution of Czechoslovakia it consisted of 16 teams. Upon dissolution, six teams were promoted to the then newly formed Corgoň Liga. The league was expanded to 18 teams in 1996–97 season, but back to 16 in 2001–02 and 12 in 2006–07. For 2014/2015 & 2015/2016 seasons the league became known as ''DOXXbet liga'' as part of a sponsorship agreement. Jorge Martín Salinas (; born 6 May 1992) is a Paraguayan football midfielder who currently plays for Club Sportivo San Lorenzo. Career In September 2009, he joined Slovak club AS Trenčín. Ruslan Lyubarskyi
Ruslan Lyubarskyi (born 29 September 1973) is a Ukrainian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is mostly known for his time playing in Košice in the Corgoň Liga and Maccabi Netanya in the Israeli Premier League. Career Lyubarski was born in Bar, Ukraine. He spent six seasons in Slovakia, where he led 1. FC Košice to two championships. He had a brief spell with Sparta Prague. He also played for Maccabi Netanya in Israel for four seasons, also playing with the club in the Intertoto Cup. Lyubarskyi came to Metalurh in 2004, and debuted in a match against Tavriya Simferopol. The 2010–11 season of Slovak Second League (also known as 2. liga) was the eighteen season of the third-tier association football, football league in Slovakia, since its establishment in 1993. 32 teams were geographically divided into two groups: 2. liga západ and 2. liga východ (Western and Eastern) of 16 teams each. The 2010–11 season of the Slovak Superliga (also known as ''Corgoň Liga'' due to sponsorship reasons) was the eighteenth season of the first-tier football league in Slovakia, since its establishment in 1993. It began on 17 July 2010 and was completed on 25 May 2011. MŠK Žilina were the defending champions, having won their fifth Slovak league championship the previous season.
