2009–10 Scottish League Cup
The 2009–10 Scottish League Cup was the 64th season of the Scotland's second most prestigious association football, football knockout competition, also known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-operative Insurance Cup. Rangers F.C., Rangers won the cup beating St Mirren F.C., St Mirren 1–0 thanks to a goal from Kenny Miller. The format of the competition was changed due to six Scottish clubs qualifying for European competition, two Scottish Premier League, SPL clubs entered in the First Round. Calendar Note: the 4 best placed SPL teams not competing in European competition enter the tournament in the 2nd round and the 6 teams who are competing in European competition enter the tournament in the 3rd round. Kenny Deuchar
Kenneth Robert John Deuchar (born 6 July 1980) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is also a practising medical doctor. In his professional footballing career he played for Falkirk (two spells), East Fife, Gretna, Northampton Town, St Johnstone (two spells), Real Salt Lake, Hamilton Academical, Livingston and Stenhousemuir, when he initially retired for two years before returning to play for Arbroath for a further year. Steven Milne (footballer)
Steven Milne (born 5 May 1980) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a striker for Dundee, Forfar Athletic, Plymouth Argyle, St Johnstone, Ross County and Arbroath. Milne received a runners-up medal in the 2003 Scottish Cup Final, where Dundee lost 1–0 to Rangers. He won the Scottish Challenge Cup in 2007 and the Scottish First Division in 2009 with St Johnstone. Stenhousemuir F
Stenhousemuir (; gd, Featha Thaigh nan Clach) is a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk council area of Scotland. The town is north-northwest of Falkirk and directly adjoins to Larbert in the west, where the nearest rail access is located. The villages of Carron and Carronshore adjoin Stenhousemuir to the east but to a lesser extent. At the 2001 census it showed that it had a resident population of 10,351 but according to a 2009 estimate this was revised to around 10,190 residents. Caledonian Stadium is a football ground in the Longman area of Inverness, Scotland, near the banks of the Moray Firth. It hosts home matches of Scottish Professional Football League club Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Douglas Imrie (born 3 August 1983) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is currently the manager of Greenock Morton. Imrie played as either a forward or a winger in the professional leagues for Clyde, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, St Mirren, Greenock Morton and Hamilton Academical, having previously played in the Junior league for Lanark United. Robert John Eagle (born 23 February 1987) is an English former professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. As a professional he has represented three clubs, starting his career with Norwich City before playing for Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Grimsby Town. Hampden Park (Scottish Gaelic: ''Pàirc Hampden''), often referred to as Hampden, is a football stadium in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow, Scotland.
