The Saudi Second Division is the Third level football competition in Saudi Arabia. Qualified three teams to Saudi First Division. In this season, the relegation was canceled after the Second division to 20 clubs. Saudi Second Division
The Saudi Second Division , also known as the Second Division League (SDL), is a football league that is the third tier of the Saudi Arabian football league system. The league consists of 32 teams divided into two groups and was founded in 1996. Promotion and relegation The top 3 teams are promoted to the First Division League. The first two teams of each group will advance directly to the First Division League, and the second two teams of each group will compete in two round-trip matches, and the winning team will advance to the First Division League as the third team. The bottom two clubs of each group are relegated to the Third Division League. Fahad Al-Mirdasi
Fahad Al-Mirdasi (born 16 August 1985) is a Saudi Arabian football referee who served as a full international for FIFA from 2011 to 2018, when he was banned for life for match fixing. Refereeing career Al-Mirdasi was one of the referees for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. He officiated four games in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, including the final game. Al-Mirdasi officiated at the men's football tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He officiated the match between Sweden and Colombia in the group stage, with the game ending with a score of 2–2. Sakakah
Sakākā () is a city in northwestern Saudi Arabia which is the capital of Al Jawf Province. It is located just to the north of the An Nafud desert. Sakakah had a population of 242,813 at the 2010 census. History Sakakah is an oasis town on an ancient caravan route across the Arabian peninsula. Modernization In recent years, the Saudi government has been providing more seed capital to Al-Jawf region, especially in Sakaka in hopes of developing the economically starved region of the kingdom. For this reason, the city has new government buildings, schools and hospitals and are built adjacent to crumbling ruins of older buildings.
