2009–10 New Zealand One-day Cricket Competition Season
The 2009–10 New Zealand one-day competition is the 39th season of official List A domestic cricket in New Zealand. This year there is no sponsor for the one day competition. The season began on 8 December 2009 with Otago Volts playing Wellington Firebirds, Auckland Aces playing Northern Districts Knights and Central Districts Stags playing Canterbury Wizards. Jamie Michael How (born 19 May 1981) is a former cricketer who has played Test match, One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket for New Zealand. Queenstown Events Centre, John Davies Oval, or Davies Park is a multi-purpose sports complex and stadium located in Queenstown, Otago in the South Island of New Zealand. Neil Broom
Neil Trevor Broom (born 20 November 1983) is a New Zealand international cricketer. Broom has played domestic cricket for teams including Otago Volts, Derbyshire County Cricket Club and Canterbury. After making his international debut in 2009, Broom was recalled in to the squad in 2017 following a successful domestic season, and made his Test debut. Matthew David Bell (born 25 February 1977) is a former New Zealand international cricketer. Basin Reserve
The Basin Reserve (commonly known as "The Basin") is a cricket ground in Wellington, New Zealand. It has been used for Test matches, and is the main home ground for the Wellington Firebirds first-class team. The Basin Reserve is the only cricket ground to have New Zealand Historic Place status ( Category II) as it is the oldest Test cricket ground in the country. The ground has been used for events other than cricket, such as concerts, sports events and other social gatherings, but now it is mostly used for cricket, particularly Test matches. On 1 October 2021, Cello Communications, a Wellington-based telecommunications company was appointed as the naming rights partner of the ground, thus the commercial name of the stadium became the Cello Basin Reserve as part of a two-year agreement. Craig Cumming
Craig Derek Cumming (born 31 August 1975 in Timaru) is a former New Zealand cricketer. He played for New Zealand in One Day Internationals and Tests. He played domestic cricket with Canterbury and Otago.
