2009 U.S. Open (golf)
The 2009 United States Open Championship was the 109th U.S. Open (golf), U.S. Open, held June 18–22 on the Bethpage Black Course, Black Course of Bethpage State Park on Long Island, in Farmingdale, New York. Lucas Glover won his only Men's major golf championships, major title, two strokes ahead of runners-up Ricky Barnes, David Duval, and Phil Mickelson. This was the second U.S. Open at Bethpage Black; the first in 2002 U.S. Open (golf), 2002 was won by Tiger Woods, also the 2008 U.S. Open (golf), defending champion. The 2009 edition was hit heavily by continuous rain throughout the tournament, and resulted in multiple suspensions of play. David Duval
David Robert Duval (born November 9, 1971) is an American professional golfer and former World No. 1 Golfer who competed on the PGA Tour and currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. Duval won 13 PGA Tour tournaments between 1997 and 2001; including one major title, The Open Championship in 2001. Duval received his PGA Tour card in 1995, earning it after becoming two-time ACC Player of the Year, 1993 National Player of the Year, and playing two years on the Nike Tour (where he won twice). Between 1997 and 2000, Duval finished all four seasons top-5 on the PGA Tour's money list, including being the leading money winner and scoring leader in 1998. Masters Tournament
The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Danny Jin-Myung Lee ( ko, 이진명; born 24 July 1990) is a New Zealand professional golfer. Lee was born in Incheon, South Korea, and emigrated to New Zealand at the age of eight. He became a New Zealand citizen on 2 September 2008 at Rotorua, where he attended Rotorua Boys' High School. Geoff Ogilvy
Geoff Charles Ogilvy (born 11 June 1977) is an Australian professional golfer. He won the 2006 U.S. Open and has also won three World Golf Championships. Professional career Ogilvy was born in Adelaide, South Australia to an English-born father Mike and Australian born mother Judy. Breast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissue.
