2009 South Korean Figure Skating Championships
The 2009 South Korean Figure Skating Championships were the South Korean Figure Skating Championships for the 2008–09 season. They were the 63rd edition of those championships held. They were organized by the Korean Skating Union. Skaters competed in the disciplines of men's and ladies singles on the senior, junior, and novice levels for the title of national champion of South Korea. The results of the national championships were used to choose the South Korean teams to the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships, the 2009 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships, and the 2009 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. Goyang
Goyang (''Goyang-si''; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province in the north of South Korea. It is part of the Seoul Capital Area, making Goyang one of Seoul's satellite cities. Park So-youn (figure Skater)
Park So-youn (, born October 24, 1997) is a retired South Korean figure skater. She is the 2012 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy champion, the 2014 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy bronze medalist, the 2015 South Korean national champion, and a three-time South Korean national silver medalist (2012–2014). On the junior level, she is the 2012 Youth Olympic team event bronze medalist, the 2012 JGP Turkey silver medalist, and the 2011 Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy silver medalist. She placed 4th at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics and 21st at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Kwak Min-jeong (born January 23, 1994) is a South Korean former competitive figure skater. She is the 2011 South Korean bronze medalist, the 2010 South Korean silver medalist and the 2009 Junior national champion. Kwak was also a member of the South Korean Olympic Team at the 2010 Winter Olympics, where she placed 13th in the ladies' event. Lee June-hyoung (Hangul:이준형) (born October 28, 1996) is a South Korean former competitive figure skater. He is the 2014 JGP France champion and a three-time South Korean national champion (2013, 2015, 2016). He is the first South Korean male figure skater who stood on the podium and won gold at ISU events. Also, he is the first Korean male skater to qualify for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final. Choi Ji-eun (born May 25, 1988) is a South Korean figure skating coach and former competitor. She is a five-time South Korean national medalist, having won two silver and three bronze medals. She won the bronze medal at the 2006 ISU Junior Grand Prix in Hungary and reached the free skate at four ISU Championships. Personal life Choi Ji-eun was born May 25, 1988, in Daejeon, South Korea. Shin Yea-ji (born February 25, 1988 in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean figure skating coach and choreographer and former competitive figure skater.
