It was held on December 31, 2009, at the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Seoul, and was hosted by actor Jang Keun-suk, actress Moon Geun-young and announcer Park Sun-young. Swallow The Sun (TV Series)
''Swallow the Sun'' () is a 2009 South Korean television series starring Ji Sung, Sung Yu-ri, Lee Wan and Jun Kwang-ryul. It aired on SBS from July 9 to October 1, 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 25 episodes. Synopsis The drama opens in the 1960–1970's, with a group of criminals that were brought to Jeju Island for manual labor as punishment under the harsh supervision of troop leaders. Among this group is Kim Il-hwan (Jin Goo), an unrefined, rebellious man with no family and no direction in life. With nothing to lose, Il-hwan escapes from the rest of the infantry after combat with one of the troop leaders, Lee Soo-chang (Ahn Nae-sang). The rest of the troop eventually track him down and corner him on a cliff over Jeju's ocean. Han Ji-min (born November 5, 1982) is a South Korean actress. After minor roles in '' All In'' and ''Dae Jang Geum'', Han had her breakout role in revenge series ''Resurrection'' in 2005. Shin Hyun-joon (actor)
Shin Hyun-joon (; born October 28, 1968) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for his roles in ''Barefoot Ki-bong'', ''Stairway to Heaven (South Korean TV series), Stairway to Heaven'' and the ''Marrying the Mafia II, Marrying the Mafia'' sequels, and as the photographer in the popular music video "Because I'm A Girl" by Kiss (South Korean band), KISS. Ryu Si-won (; born 6 October 1972) is a South Korean actor and singer. After he made his debut in the KBS drama ''Feeling'' in 1994, Ryu pursued a singing career. Cha Seung-won (born June 7, 1970) is a South Korean actor, who began his career as an in-demand fashion model in the 1990s.
