2009 NCAA Division I Indoor Track And Field Championships
The 2009 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships was the 44th NCAA Men's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 27th NCAA Women's Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in College Station, Texas near the campus of the host school, Texas A&M University. In total, thirty-two different men's and women's indoor track and field events were contested from March 13 to March 14, 2009. At the championships, Galen Rupp won the 3000 meters, 5000 meters, and distance medley relay. Jason Colwick (born January 25, 1988) is a two-time NCAA champion American pole vaulter. His personal best vault is 5.72 metres, achieved in April 2009 in Austin, Texas. He attended and competed for Rice University in Houston, Texas. Career Colwick won the pole vault title at the 2009 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. Christian Taylor (born June 18, 1990) is an American track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump and has a personal record of , which ranks 2nd on the Triple jump#Men (outdoor), all-time list. Quentin Jarrod Iglehart-Summers (born June 15, 1987) is an American former track and field sprinter, who specialized in the 400-meter dash. He set a personal record of 45.46 seconds for the event in 2008. He was a gold medalist in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2012.
