2009 Hamilton Tiger-Cats Season
The 2009 CFL season, 2009 Hamilton Tiger-Cats season was the 52nd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 60th overall. The Tiger-Cats finished the season in second place in the Canadian Football League East Division, East Division with a 9–9 record and qualified for the 2009 CFL season#Grey Cup playoffs, Grey Cup playoffs for the first time since 2004. Johnnie Morant Jr. (born December 7, 1981) is a former gridiron football wide receiver. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Syracuse. He is the former head strength and conditioning coach at East Carter High School. Morant was also a member of the Toronto Argonauts and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Sacha Lancaster (born March 29, 1979) is a former gridiron football player. He played as a fullback/linebacker for the Los Angeles Avengers, the New Orleans VooDoo, the Detroit Fury, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Jacksonville Sharks. Woodcock attended American College at Syracuse University between 1997 and 2000 and he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School (Kanata), Holy Trinity Catholic High School, which is located in Kanata, Ontario. Jeff Piercy (born March 25, 1983) is a former Canadian football fullback who most recently played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. Piercy is an alumnus of Evan Hardy Collegiate, where he graduated in 2001. Piercy played in college for the University of Saskatchewan and was named a Canada West All-Star in his final season.
