2009 Canadian Junior Curling Championships
The 2009 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held January 31-February 8 at the Sunwave Centre and the Salmon Arm Curling Club in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. The winning teams of Prince Edward Island's Brett Gallant in the men's event and Manitoba's Kaitlyn Lawes in the women's event would go on to represent Canada at the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships in Vancouver. M&M Meat Shops
M&M Food Market (french: link=no, Les aliments M&M), formerly known as M&M Meat Shops, is a Canadian frozen food retail chain. The company is headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, Mississauga, Ontario, and has locations in all ten Provinces and territories of Canada, provinces, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories; the company formerly had operations in the Midwestern United States under the MyMenu brand that operated between 2008 and 2013. Origin M&M was founded by Michael "Mac" Voisin and Mark Nowak in Kitchener, Ontario, Kitchener, Ontario, in 1980. Stephen Donnellan Moss (1948–2005) was an American editor and publisher who founded two major weekly newspapers in California's Central Coast and created the 55 Fiction short story contest. Moss founded the '' New Times San Luis Obispo'' with Beverly Johnson and Alex Zuniga in 1986, and was its president and majority shareholder. He financed it with a few thousand dollars raised by cashing in his IRA account and borrowing from his aunt, Professor Mary Josephine Moss of San Jose State University. By 2005, the paper had a circulation of over 20,000 and revenues exceeding $1,000,000 per year. In 2002, he launched the ''Santa Maria Sun'' in the city of Santa Maria, 30 miles south.
