The 2009 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship was the 10th staging of the Asian Volleyball Confederation, AVC Club Championships. The tournament was held in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. Federbrau Volleyball
Federbrau was a women's volleyball club, based in Bangkok, Thailand. The club played in the Thailand Volleyball Championship Serie A, which started in 2008. History The team won the 2009 Asian Club Championship, after defeating Tianjin Bridgestone at the final game. Onuma Sittirak won the MVP and Best Spiker award, Nootsara Tomkom Best Server and Wanna Buakaew Best Libero. In the 2010 Asian Club Championship the team successfully retained the crown against Zhetysu Almaty from Kazakhstan. Nootsara Tomkom won the MVP award and Sittirak winning the Best Scorer and Best Spiker awards for Federbrau. As the winner of the Asian Volleyball Confederation club tournament, the team earned the right to play at the 2010 FIVB Women's Club World Championship. The Afghanistan Volleyball Association (AVA) is the governing body of volleyball in Afghanistan. The federation had called up a total 14 players for the 2014 Asian Games. Nootsara Tomkom ( th, นุศรา ต้อมคำ; ) is a Thai volleyball player. She has been selected to play for the Thailand women's national volleyball team 39 times. Career She participated at the 2006 FIVB World Grand Prix. Petrokimia Gresik is a fertilizer company located in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia, which was initially established under the name 'Project of Petrokimia Surabaya'. The construction agreement was mutually signed on August 10, 1964 with the effective date on December 8, 1964. The project was officially inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on July 10, 1972. Hence the date is ultimately commemorated as the anniversary of PT Petrokimia Gresik. Tianjin Bohai Bank Volleyball Club is a professional women's volleyball club based in Tianjin that plays in the Chinese Volleyball League. Founded in 1993, the team has become a symbolic image of Tianjin Sports and the most successful women’s volleyball team in China.
