2009 ATP Challenger Trophy
The 2009 ATP Challenger Trophy was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor red clay courts. It was the third edition of the tournament which was part of the 2009 ATP Challenger Tour. Trnava
Trnava (, german: Tyrnau; hu, Nagyszombat, also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, to the northeast of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of a ''kraj'' (Trnava Region) and of an '' okres'' (Trnava District). It is the seat of a Roman Catholic archbishopric (1541–1820 and then again since 1977). Julian Reister (; born 2 April 1986) is a German retired professional tennis player. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 83, achieved in November 2013. Reister reached the quarterfinals of Buenos Aires in 2013 as a qualifier. Lukáš Rosol
Lukáš Rosol (; born 24 July 1985) is a Czech professional tennis player. He competes on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Tour, both in singles and doubles. Rosol was coached by former Czech player, 1999 US Open quarterfinalist Ctislav Doseděl. His career-high singles ranking is world No. 26, achieved on 22 September 2014. His first notable victory was against world No. 8, Jürgen Melzer, at the 2011 French Open, whom he defeated in five sets in the second round a year after Melzer had reached the semifinal. A year later, Rosol defeated world No. 2, Rafael Nadal, in the second round of Wimbledon to achieve one of the biggest wins in his career. Grzegorz Panfil (; born 1 January 1988) is a Polish professional tennis player. Career highlights Panfils' highlights include his win at the F1 Ukrainian Futures Tournament, and his achievements at the Hopman Cup. Bohdan Ulihrach (born 23 February 1975) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic. Career Ulihrach turned professional in 1993. He won his first top-level singles title in July 1995 at Prague, where he defeated Javier Sánchez in the final. His second followed three months later at Montevideo, where he beat Alberto Berasategui in the final.
