2009 AFC President's Cup
The 2009 AFC President's Cup was the fifth edition of the AFC President's Cup, a competition for football clubs in countries categorized as "emerging nations" by the Asian Football Confederation. Eleven teams competed for the title and were split up into three groups, playing each other team in their group once. The winner of each group and the best runner-up qualified for the semifinals, and the winners of the semifinal matches played in the final match to determine the winner. Each group was to be played over a period of days in May and June at one venue - Group A at Dashrath Stadium, Nepal, Group B at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka and Group C at Spartak Stadium, Bishkek. Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda
Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda (Tajiki: Регар-ТадАЗ Турсунзода клуби футболи), ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال ریگر-تداز تورسونزاده), is a Tajik professional football club based in Tursunzoda, that currently play in the top division. Regar-TadAZ have dominated football in Tajikistan since the turn of the 21st century. They won the 2005 edition of the AFC President's Cup, beating Dordoi-Dynamo Naryn of Kyrgyzstan 3–0. History Regar-TadAZ Tursunzoda was formed in 1975 as "Metallurg", and was made up of workers from the TALCO plant. Dasarath Rangasala Stadium
Dasharath Rangasala ( ne, दशरथ रंगशाला; ) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwar, Kathmandu. It is named after Dasharath Chand, one of the four great martyrs of Nepal. The stadium is used mostly for football matches and cultural programmes. It has floodlights installed, to facilitate matches and events in the evenings. Most of Nepal's national and international tournaments are held in this stadium. Nepal's primary football division, Martyr's Memorial League, is also held on this ground every year. 2008 A-Division
The 2008 season of the Bhutanese A-Division was the fourteenth recorded season of top-flight football in Bhutan. The league was won by Yeedzin FC, their first ever title, and the first time a team other than Transport United had won the league in five years. Yeedzin FC
Yeedzin Football Club was a football club from Thimphu, Bhutan. Founded in 2002, they were promoted from the B-Division to the A-Division in the same year. They won their first A-Division title in 2008 and have won a total of four A-Division championships. They also qualified for the National League in 2012 and 2013, winning the inaugural national competition in 2012. They have been Bhutan's representative in the AFC President's Cup on four occasions, and lost all of their twelve games played in the competition with a goal difference of –75.
